The 19th Annual CIGRE Canada Conference on Power Systems will bring together key players in the electric power systems sector: business leaders, system operators, manufacturers, engineers, scientists, policy makers, regulators and academics.
The conference is a unique forum to share exciting new research, to exchange technical knowledge, to address issues and raise awareness, to discuss future directions, and to network with leading professionals from all over the world.
Abstract submissions:
As of February 1st, authors should submit a one-page abstract through the online system at cfa.cigreconference.ca
Upon abstract acceptance, a 6–8 pages paper in CIGRE format must be submitted by the final deadline. Accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings and will be published in the online CIGRE library (e-cigre.org), provided at least one author is fully registered and presents the paper at the conference.

Masoud Farzaneh Prize awarded to Pierre Van Dyke of Hydro-Quebec
CIGRE Canada would like to congratulate Dr. Pierre Van Dyke, B2 Study Committee Canadian Representative from 2014 to 2022, and appointed CIGRE B2 Study Committee Chairman for 2022-2024, on being awarded the 2022 Masoud Farzaneh Prize for his contribution to countering the effect of atmospheric icing on overhead power lines.
