| Call for Proposals: CIGRE Innovation & Education Fund 2026
CIGRE Canada warmly invites project proposals from Canada that contribute to innovation, education, and sustainable power systems in support of the Energy Transition.
 Funding available up to €100,000 per project
 Submission deadline: 31 May 2026 [proposals should be sent to [email protected]]
 CIGRE Canada Review Results: Late June 2026
Note: Projects selected through the CIGRE Canada pre-screening process will be submitted to the CIGRE Central Office for final evaluation. Final results will be announced in late August 2026.
The CIGRE Innovation and Education Fund supports projects that advance innovation, knowledge sharing, and capacity building in electrical power systems, aligned with the vision of One Grid for the Energy Transition.
Proposals are required to provide complete and accurate information, including:
- Project description
- Objectives
- Timeline and expected outcomes
- Budget and financial information
- Reporting and monitoring plan
Additional supporting documents (figures, plans, etc.) must be uploaded as part of the submission.
