Olivier Ruiz has been with GE/Alstom for more than 25 years and is currently leading the EPC group of Grid Solution for North America. With his group of 200 engineers, project managers and professional from all functions, they are delivering High Voltage T&D projects to utilities and industrials across US and Canada.

Managing such complex projects and organisation have allowed Olivier to live in 4 countries: France, Indonesia, USA and now Canada for the past 6 years as well as dealing with all technologies AC, HVDC, FACTS, Digital Controls that we can find in Transmission Networks.

With the recent integration of GE Grid Solution within GE Renewables Business, a stronger focus has been put by his team in solutions to integrate renewables energy especially Wind Offshore and Onshore.

Olivier holds a diploma of Electrical Engineering from INPG (Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble) in France.
