Benoit Lamarche has been with GE/Alstom for more than 13 years and is the Regional Sales Manager for Canada on behalf of the Grid Solutions division, which is part of GE Power Portfolio business unit. In this capacity, he is responsible for managing the team of key account managers covering the Canadian T & D market across the full range of solutions offered (products, services, software and turnkey solutions) while remaining the dedicated Hydro-Québec key account manager.
Previously, he worked for large companies in the electrical field such as Thomas & Betts, AMP, SIMEL (France) and Volex in various management positions in sales and marketing. At the beginning of the 2000’s, he has been associated with IREQ as project manager for the industrialization and commercialization of the DAC innovation/deicer actuated by cartridge for guard wires. Benoit holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the École des Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC), an MBA from the École des Sciences de la gestion (ESG UQAM) and a certificate in electricity from the École Polytechnique de Montréal.
